SetFocus To Fill Skills Gap with Launch of New Master's Program: SharePoint Training Track

Download this press release as an Adobe PDF document.

The rapid growth in Microsoft SharePoint 2007 sales is driving demand for skilled developers.

Parsippany, NJ (PRWEB) August 28, 2008 -- Due to strong demand for professionals with SharePoint developer skills, SetFocus, a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner for Learning Solutions (CPLS), is launching a 6-week Master's Program with a SharePoint training focus, offering intensive training in the principles and practices of customizing, deploying, managing and maintaining SharePoint 2007.

The demand for professionals with these skills has created a great opportunity for .NET developers to upgrade their skills and command top dollar pay. These new skills are both difficult to obtain and in great demand, and will offer our incoming students a tremendous opportunity to capitalize on this job market.
Starting October 20, 2008, the new SharePoint curriculum will include 400 hours of developer training, usage of real world project specifications, code review, labs, exams and mentoring. Using this hands-on learning approach, SetFocus believes that the professionals-in-training will gain a solid and comprehensive understanding of the course material. In addition, all eligible SetFocus students receive in-depth career coaching and placement services to help obtain a SharePoint developer position.

With hundreds of thousands licenses being sold, SharePoint 2007, more commonly known as MOSS 2007, has become a critical business intelligence tool. "It's one of the most sought after technologies of our hiring partners," says Jonathan Lefkowitz, president of SetFocus. "The demand for professionals with these skills has created a great opportunity for .NET developers to upgrade their skills and command top dollar pay. These new skills are both difficult to obtain and in great demand, and will offer our incoming students a tremendous opportunity to capitalize on this job market."
