Boston, MA (PRWEB) October 2, 2007 -- With her fresh approach to sex education, her easy-going style, and her broad appeal, author, lecturer, and web TV host Amber Madison (www.ambermadison.tv) is receiving invitations to address audiences of every age and background from around the country.

On October 4, the 23 year-old Madison will join a distinguished panel comprised of authors, social scientists, political strategists, policy leaders, and the media at the National Campaign to Prevent Teen Pregnancy symposium, 20-Something in the 21st Century, in Washington, D.C.

Madison and her book, Hooking Up: A Girl's All-Out Guide to Sex & Sexuality, were recently featured at the Baltimore Book Festival. More than 60,000 people took part in this weekend event which also included talks by a diverse group of authors including Food Network chef Cat Cora, style guru Tim Gunn, poet Nikki Giovanni, the renowned skater Dorothy Hamill, and politician Kathleen Kennedy Townsend.

To reach the broadest possible audience with timely information on sexual health and emotional well-being Madison has talked with reporters representing regional and top national programs and publications including The Today Show, National Public Radio and more.

And her new web TV channel, AmberMadison.TV, is constantly updating and expanding its programming to keep pace with viewer interest. This lively, interactive web channel offers video content on a variety of topics such as relationships, body image, decision making, and safe sex, as well as Madison's popular blog, and provides opportunities for viewers to ask questions and post their own stories and experiences.

Madison regularly speaks before her core audience – young adults – through numerous appearances including CollegeFest, which each year welcomes more than 15,000 students to Boston. Thousands more attended College Night at Boston's Museum of Science, another popular annual event. Later this fall, Madison's travels will include visits to the campuses of the University of California at Irvine, Wake Forest in North Carolina, and the University of New Hampshire.

With her engaging personality, natural connection with young adults, and direct approach to sensitive subjects, Madison has been called, "...the Jon Stewart of sex" and "the Dr. Ruth of the YouTube generation."
