Marie K. Schwartz, a former software equity analyst for Adams,
Harkness & Hill, has joined the agency as a vice president.

Before joining Sharon Merrill Associates, Schwartz served as director of
investor relations for Open Text Corp. with specific focus on building

within the U.S. investment community. Prior to that, she spent 10 years
as an equity analyst, including three years covering application and
platform software for Adams, Harkness & Hill (now Canaccord Adams) in
Boston and five years covering special situation healthcare and medical
devices for John G. Kinnard & Co in Minneapolis. Schwartz is a member of
the National Investor Relations Institute.
She holds a bachelor of arts in economics from Drake University in Des
Moines, Iowa, and an MBA from the University of Minnesota’s
Carlson School of Management.
