McClure Tables Make Their Complete Line of Quality Shuffleboard Tables Available Exclusively to Retail Dealers

Now retailers can offer their customers the same proven shuffleboard tables that have filled game rooms throughout south and central Texas for more than a quarter century. Manufacturer McClure Tables introduces a new program to help retailers sell their tables in brick and mortal stores.

Grand Rapids, MI (PRWEB) June 18, 2007 -- After more than 25 years of providing high quality shuffleboard tables and game room supplies and service in south and central Texas retail markets, owner Todd McClure is now focused on helping other retail distributors succeed. Because of his past background in retail, McClure Tables will not sell their tables to online retail dealers. In fact, McClure has formulated distributor policies and strategies to discourage retail dealers from marketing online or outside a local geographic territory.

We have written a buying guide and it's the only one of its kind on the Internet. This guide was written to try to help the consumer make an educated decision when looking at shuffleboards
A shuffleboard table is a large purchase for any game room and requires expert local service and installation. Internet retail dealers can provide installation service, but not on the same level as a local store. Generally Internet outlets use contract installers. If buyers have any problems, they cannot draw on a local dealer for customer support. Therefore, McClure has ensured his tables will only be sold through select retail dealers with local showrooms and local customer support.

Because of streamlined systems for raw material procurement, manufacturing processes and distribution, McClure Tables give retail dealers a high quality product they can sell at a very competitive price, either equal to or lower than Internet outlets for a comparable model . McClure tables use a Hard Rock Maple wood for the playing surface, which is 25% harder than the soft maple the leading competitor uses. They also have a special polymer finish and offer a lifetime warranty on the playfield surface. This polymer shuffleboard finish never needs to be refinished. This will save a consumer money in the long term. When a traditional board without a lifetime polymer finish needs a new top finish, this can often cost more than the complete unit when bought new.

"We have written a buying guide and it's the only one of its kind on the Internet. This guide was written to try to help the consumer make an educated decision when looking at shuffleboards," Todd McClure said. View it online at www.mccluretables.com/boardfacts.html.

"Consumers have to be careful and not always believe what an online store may say about the product," said McClure. "We have found many sites who claim the playfield is made of solid maple, yet when you check out the manufacturer's site of the brand they are promoting, you will often find the manufacturer only claims the surface is hard wood."

McClure tables started with retail roots by Todd and Judy McClure who for over 30 years operated retail stores in the billiard and game room industry. They formed this company to provide the highest quality shuffleboards available in our industry.

"We have over 30 years experience in the sales, installation and service of shuffleboard tables and game room products," Todd McClure said. "We have also worked extensively with manufacturers to design products and improve production techniques."

Together with the management at the factory, they have over 50 years experience in the industry. They leave nothing to chance and control every aspect of the production. Todd McClure makes frequent visits to the mills to select the hard rock maple wood used to manufacture the playing surface. They process the lumber and cut and mold it to size to laminate together their table play surface. They select the cabinet material and has worked extensively with the polymer manufacturer to develop a special mixture for their polymer finish that never needs refinished.

McClure tables are located in Grand Rapids, Michigan and ship worldwide. We are a family run business and take personal pride in our products. They hope you will find your McClure shuffleboard table a fun entertaining addition to your home or family game room. You can find more information at www.mccluretables.com.
