Specialized healthcare provider National Counseling Group has purchased Silanis' award-winning ApproveIt® Desktop e-signature solution to eliminate paper from its casework processes.

Montreal, QC (PRWEB) November 20, 2007 -- National Counseling Group, Inc. (NCG) is among the thousands of organizations now using ApproveIt® Desktop electronic signature solution, by leading e-signature provider Silanis Technology, to streamline internal approvals in compliance with ESIGN, UETA and industry-specific regulations.

Our counselors wanted a solution that would allow them to spend more time helping their clients
NCG, Inc. is a nationally recognized private group of therapists and counselors providing counseling and outpatient services to individuals and families in Northern, Central, Eastern and Southwestern Virginia. It caters to high-risk clients who need specialized intensive and in-home services for mental health and/or substance abuse issues.

"Our counselors wanted a solution that would allow them to spend more time helping their clients," said Christine Maurer, director of information services, NCG.

"They told us they were spending too much time on printing, scanning and re-keying casework data."

A technology-forward organization, NCG had already implemented a document management system, but processes were still falling to paper whenever a signature was required.

As an organization regulated by the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), NCG needed a secure solution, configurable enough to meet security, privacy, IT and other regulations. ApproveIt met all of those requirements.

Now, this crucial community resource is using Silanis' ApproveIt® Desktop e-signature solution to eliminate paper from automated clinical processes like monthly summaries and patient assessments, for greater efficiency.

Without paper-related costs, such as printing, shipping and faxing, NCG will be able to redirect funds towards better use.
