Master of internet marketing Alex Mandossian interviews Greg Link, President of CoveyLink, as he and partner, Linda Lopeke, the SMARTSTART Coach, host first SMARTSTART|Giving live micro-fundraising call in support of Clinton's Global Initiative.
Simple acts have the power to overcome tremendous challenges

Mississauga, ON (PRWEB) March 29, 2008 -- Entrepreneurs around the globe are dialing in for monthly micro-fundraising calls hosted by master marketer Alex Mandossian and partner SmartStart CEO Linda Lopeke. The calls, simulcast over the internet, run on the final Friday of every month at 8 a.m. Pacific, 11 a.m. Eastern.

The pair behind the innovative SmartStart Giving program are interviewing Greg Link, President of CoveyLink, March 28, 2008. Link developed and led Covey Leadership Center's seminar business and business development efforts negotiating profitable multi-million dollar business alliances and joint ventures. He was responsible for Covey's international publishing success resulting from partnerships with over 30 publishers worldwide. This included making publishing history in Japan, leading the strategy that sold over one million copies of a foreign language translation non-fiction business book: The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People in Japanese. He was also instrumental in formulating and executing one of the largest international business satellite broadcasts with partners Lessons in Leadership and Fortune Magazine.

Link is the first in a series of interviews showcasing those who lead from behind the scenes as Mandossian and Lopeke give back to listeners and supporters of SmartStart Giving attending the micro-fundraising calls. Both partners believe reciprocity is the foundation of all great giving. Funds raised from ongoing monthly events go to Kiva.org where micro-loans are made to entrepreneurs in the developing world to empower them to lift themselves out of poverty.

"Simple acts have the power to overcome tremendous challenges," says Lopeke, "there's no shortage of work to do or need in the world." Mandossian admits "giving to others really benefits the giver so what I'm doing is as much for me as it is for my audience". Those who take action by participating in the SmartStart Giving program will be well rewarded for their commitment to help others' business and career dreams come true.
