Web 2.0 User Generated Sport Website Sportingo Announces Record Growth

Following the outstanding success of the football, tennis and cricket sections, Sportingo will be launching new sections covering Rugby, Golf and Cycling. Several leading sport federations and clubs around the world will soon begin using Sportingo's platform to integrate edited user generated content into their websites.

Herzliya, Israel (PRWeb) February 2, 2007 -- Web 2.0 user generated sport website Sportingo announced that its monthly growth exceeded more then 150% in January 2007. Following the outstanding success of the football, cricket and tennis sections Sportingo will be launching an updated version of the site in mid February that will include new Rugby, Golf and Cycling sections.

The site, launched in September 2006, has signed up over 300 fan writers that regularly comment on football, tennis and cricket. More than 100 new authors are signing up monthly. The site currently receives 10,000 unique visitors daily from a global audience.

I feel like I am part of a real sport desk and enjoy how my articles can be enhanced," added Kevin Dixie from Fuelmyblog, who has been writing on the site over the past few months.
