International Society for Stem Cell Research Highlights New YouTube Channel Providing Accurate Scientific Perspectives on Stem Cell Research

The International Society for Stem Cell Research (ISSCR) commends the recent launch of a YouTube channel created by the University of Michigan and designed to share advances in stem cell science. The channel comes during a heightened period of interest concerning stem cell research in Michigan: On Tuesday, voters will be asked to support Michigan's Proposal 2, a state initiative to accelerate medical research and develop new stem cell treatments for currently incurable diseases.

Deerfield, IL (PRWEB) October 30, 2008 -- The University of Michigan launched a new channel on YouTube.com this week to highlight and share advances in stem cell science. This educational effort is supported by the University's stem cell research programs and commended by the International Society for Stem Cell Research (ISSCR).
