StockSalad.com’s new stock investing software calculates and generates in real time a simple list of stocks, based on their value on the stock market.

The Netherlands (PRWEB) July 2, 2007 -- StockSalad.com announces the release of its new stock investing software, designed to evaluate and rank stock picks in real time. The application blends different types of data, including fundamental analysis, technical analysis, analysts’ research, correlation and more into one single indicator -- The StockRank Index.

StockSalad’s new software translates all information for stock investors into a simple list of stocks, ranked according to how overvalued or undervalued they are on the stock market. The program can calculate millions of variables in real time.

StockSalad.com software blends different types of data together, like fundamental analysis (EPS, sector analysis, correlation, market capitalization), technical analysis (the new floating moving average, Fibonacci levels, support/resistance) and market analysts’ recommendations.

Fundamental analysis
Earnings per share (EPS) is one of the most important aspects to determine whether a stock is undervalued or overvalued. StockSalad.com calculates the daily changes of EPS for each stock to determine the Stock Rank Indicator. The EPS is applied in relation to all other stocks within the same industry sector. StockSalad.com calculates and applies the exact amount of influence that each stock has on the market based on its capitalization.

Technical analysis and trends
StockSalad.com indicates the trend based on the optimal moving average (MA) for each stock. When the best MA changes, as a result of the last price change of the stock, StockSalad.com automatically switches to the new best MA. This is the floating moving average -- dynamically using the latest optimal MA. “Buy” and “sell” signals are generated based on the best MA at that particular moment.

Analyst research
StockSalad.com automatically calculates the influence of the latest recommendations of the analysts for each stock and merges this data into the StockRank Index along with all other components.

The StockRank index is updated daily. At the moment, the program includes all stocks from DJ and NASDAQ 100. The number of stock markets will be gradually extended in the future.

More information about The StockRank Index is available at StockSalad.com.
