SAN DIEGO (Business Wire EON) November 15, 2007 --
In this new era of fast-paced living and often long commutes, clutter
builds up quickly in our cars. For this reason, co-founders of DeNovo
Concepts in San Diego, California, Jim and Dama Linton put their heads
together and created the Stuck-Up (www.getstuckup.com),
a visor car
organizer that both organizes and personalizes the car
interior.
“I was constantly fishing for pencils,
lipsticks and other things, while my husband was blindly reaching for
his headset, parking pass or other small items,”
said Ms. Linton, CEO of De Novo Concepts. “It
was a dangerous distraction and after all that digging around our cars
were a mess.”
The patent pending Stuck-Up seeks to eliminate all that digging by
allowing drivers to bring many small items and gadgets to their
fingertips by organizing them securely on their vehicle visor. This
visor system consists of a decorative frame and interchangeable
background, called a Palette. The Palette utilizes Velcro to allow easy
attachment and detachment of many of the items people find themselves
searching for in their cars.
Beyond organization, the Stuck-Up enables the consumer to personalize
and decorate the inside of their car. Customers can choose from a wide
variety of frame colors and even have the option to use the company’s
internet-based design studio (www.getstuckup.com/design)
to have any one of hundreds of colorful designs printed directly on
their Stuck-Up. They also have the option to have personalized text
printed on the Palette. And because the Palettes are interchangeable,
the user can apply different designs to express their moods, passions,
or interests…at their whim.
“By allowing them to create and interchange
designs they can convey their own individuality in a unique way each and
every day,” said Ms. Linton.
Over the course of the next year, De Novo Concepts hopes to expand its
business by offering their customers an increasing variety of customized
designs and attachable accessories. Their hope is that by presenting a
great product, excellent service and appealing to more interests, they
can build a steady and loyal customer base.
“We are confident that if we can get a
satisfied base of customers, the business will expand rapidly by word of
mouth to online communities that have interests in personalized novel
products that match their hobbies, topics or special interests,”
said Ms. Linton.
Stuck-Up represents a new way to “Persorganize”
(personalize + organize) the world inside your car (www.getstuckup.com).
Stuck-Up, which costs approximately $15.00, is a product line of De Novo
Concepts, a San Diego-based company dedicated to making customers’
lives easier, simpler and more efficient.
