Sanbolic's Software Updates now Available through Microsoft System Center: Microsoft System Center ITCU enables customers to automatically update Sanbolic Software

Sanbolic, Inc., a leading developer of software to simplify and share SAN storage, today announced that customers with current support agreements using its Melio FS, LaScala, and Simple Information Lifecycle Manager software can now receive automatic updates through the Microsoft System Center ITCU program.

WATERTOWN, Mass. (Business Wire EON) November 14, 2007 -- Sanbolic, Inc., a leading developer of software to simplify and share SAN storage, today announced that customers with current support agreements using its Melio FS, LaScala, and Simple Information Lifecycle Manager software can now receive automatic updates through the Microsoft System Center ITCU program.

We are pleased to have Sanbolic's participation in the ITCU program, as it will allow mutual customers the ability to update independent software vendors' applications, thereby increasing flexibility and lowering operating costs.

The Microsoft Inventory Tool for Custom Updates (ITCU) is available to customers using System Center Configuration Manager 2007 and System Center Essentials 2007 with System Center Updates Publisher or Systems Management Server 2003 R2. Melio FS is a clustered file system that allows multiple servers to have concurrent access to data on a SAN. LaScala is a clustered volume manager that can centrally manage the logical volume configuration and assignment for physical and virtual servers. Simple Information Lifecycle Manager (SILM) allows customer to move or copy files based on storage policies.
