Callers dialing the toll-phone number are connected through the customized system and asked the type of service needed: home, automobile or other. After making a keypad selection, callers are prompted to enter their zip code.
This information is immediately routed to 1-800 REPAIRS’ database and a list of applicable providers in that zip code is shuttled back to the automated system, a process that only takes a fraction of a second. An audio listing then plays the types of services available in that zip code along with a corresponding number to press. Pressing that number automatically connects the caller to the certified service repair provider selected.
