The evolution of web search.

Fort Kent, AB (PRWEB) October 20, 2006 -- Word is starting to spread about the latest web search service that could possibly be the most innovative tool to hit the web since Google. Still in beta, TWERQ.com saw over 10,000 searches after only being online for one month, doing so with next to no promotion or advertising. The company has been steadily releasing new information and launching new features since the official launch on September 12th, 2006.

They call TWERQ “The evolution of web search.” This is a bold statement, but watching the video demonstrations you quickly see a whole new method of searching evolve right before your eyes. It is hard to not be impressed and it doesn't take very long before you realize there could be validity to the statement.

TWERQ displays search results within multiple tabs contained within the page itself and not the browser. This allows you to use one browser window or browser tab to conduct all your searches. Q-Triggers enable users to access special search functions such as the bulk search feature which retrieves simultaneous results, each within their own respective tab. The user can then instantly and easily flip through the different sets of results. Other features include saving and shortlisting results as well as Page Place Holding so that users never loose their page or place. Every feature on TWERQ is designed to be useful to both the average searcher and the heavy web researcher. It slim Interface is easy on the eyes and non-intrusive leaving more space for actual search results.

When asked to comment about how the concept came to be, Founder Wesley Long replied, "We have tried to be different in as many ways possible from the word go. By doing so, we have tapped into uncharted territory in the world of web search. I had a great idea on paper. By working and consulting with the right people we have not only made it possible but made it better then we had originally planned."

With such a compelling and obvious advantage TWERQ is likely to establish a significant user base. It is also likely there will be some interest shown from major search engines like Google, Yahoo and Microsoft. When asked to comment on this possibility Wesley responded “Most users we have spoke with immediately have suggested major engines will want this. At this point we are not ruling anything out but we are in no rush to sell. We remain committed to Improving our system above anything else.”

They wouldn’t discuss any upcoming features or plans for this new service but they did say there is much to come and that more information would be available soon. In the mean time take a look and see the power of TWERQ for yourselves.
