FireOlive enables users to publish voice opinions about popular news using their telephone or Skype. Voice opinions can be then heard on the website and are available as a podcast too.

Tucson, AZ (PRWEB) August 31, 2006 -- FireOlive (http://www.fireolive.com/), a voice opinion publishing website has come out of beta today. FireOlive lets users publish voice messages about the current news using their "phone" or "Skype".

The internet currently offers an excellent opportunity for people to express themselves via various forums. Sometimes where it lacks is, to capture the true spirit of an actual conversation. FireOlive fills that gap and enables users to leave voice opinions about the current news by simply calling a number.

Average internet users do not always have adequate experience or patience for creating a podcast to be heard. We designed the website based on KISS (Keep It Simple Stupid) principle. I personally think, if it's not usable by everyone, it fails.
Peeter P. Mõtsküla, Developer Support Manager at Skype said, "FireOlive is a great proof of concept; its potential extends way beyond simply commenting on current news. This solution could easily be used to make all kinds of websites a lot 'stickier', especially for Skype users who can speak for free. The solution is simple and easy to use -- and, browser- and platform-independent."

Robin K, lead developer of FireOlive explained, "This is another milestone we have achieved in online publishing. We want to make it easy for everybody to put forth their opinions on the web. As a company we have established a reputation for simplifying online publishing. That's what we do best, not to mention we actually enjoy it. I am sure people will love FireOlive."

User Interface designer Rebecca said, "Average internet users do not always have adequate experience or patience for creating a podcast to be heard. We designed the website based on KISS (Keep It Simple Stupid) principle. I personally think, if it's not usable by everyone, it fails."

FireOlive was developed by 19.5 Degrees (Development Office: AZ, USA; HQ: New Delhi, India). 19.5 Degrees was earlier noted for the release of their digital product delivery platform - E-junkie late last year.
