MiniWarGaming has officially opened their new Welland Warhammer Club to help support local Warhammer gamers who are looking for a great venue to paint, play and compete with their collections. Gamers can attend for free, whether absolute beginners or experienced veterans.
Welland, Ontario (PRWEB) March 29, 2008 -- MiniWarGaming is happy to announce the official opening of their new Welland Warhammer Gaming Club to help support local Warhammer gamers who are looking for a great venue to paint, play, and compete with their collections.
MiniWarGaming has been providing Games Workshop's high quality war gaming miniatures for the Warhammer, Warhammer 40K, and Lord of the Rings Battle Strategy game for the past few months, and has now decided to take it one step further to provide gamers with somewhere to enjoy the hobby even further.
David Nordquist, one of the co-founders of MiniWarGaming, commented: "We are looking to create a venue that will be beginner-friendly but at the same time will provide the right atmosphere for experienced gamers as well. We love the Warhammer hobby and are looking for even more gamers to attend our club free of charge."
The two young owners of MiniWarGaming plan on hosting the gaming club at least once a week, but will open up their venue even more as more gamers decide to join in.
MiniWarGaming now leases a 1,500 square foot location that could support up to 25 gamers at the same time. They plan on hosting large scale tournaments and other events that will add greatly to the Warhammer hobby.
MiniWarGaming will be providing free lessons for those interested in getting into either Warhammer Fantasy, Warhammer 40K, or the Lord of the Rings Battle Strategy Game. Free painting lessons (and free painting) are available as well.
They welcome Warhammer gamers from all over the Niagara Region, and are located in Welland, Ontario, Canada. Those in St. Catharines, Port Colborne, Niagara Falls, Fort Erie, or even as far as Hamilton or Buffalo, NY are welcome to attend.
To encourage gamers to bring friends MiniWarGaming has also instituted a friend referral bonus. For every friend that you bring who hasn't attended before you receive a $15 gift certificate that you can use towards the purchase of anything available at the MiniWarGaming Warhammer Store. There is currently no limit to the number of $15 gift certificates that you can earn.
The two co-owners, Matthew and Dave, are excited to be able to bring the Warhammer gaming niche to a new level in the Niagara Region, and look forward to helping even more people enjoy the Warhammer game as much as they have.
