New Rich Web Mail delivers desktop-style email convenience for Everyone.net users

SAN JOSE, Calif. (PRWeb) March 20, 2007 -- Everyone.net (www.everyone.net), a leading provider of Software as a Service (SaaS) email and messaging solutions, today unveiled new Rich Web Mail enhancements to the company’s line of hosted email solutions, designed to deliver a more intuitive, desktop-style Web mail experience. The new features are available free of charge with all Everyone.net services, from business email to private-label email.

Everyone.net’s new Rich Web Mail enhancements harness the power of AJAX technologies to deliver a browser-based email service with the convenience of a dedicated desktop email application. Thus, users can communicate just as efficiently from remote locations as on their desktop computer.

Any email user who has endured the limitations of earlier-generation Web mail will appreciate time-saving features such as the ability to scroll through an entire list of email on one page, rather than reviewing a single page at a time; and the ability to Shift-click to highlight the desired number of messages to delete or forward, rather than dealing with cumbersome checkboxes. A push email function delivers new messages automatically, without the need to reload the Web page. In-line menus enable users to right-click to flag an email for follow-up, while a resizable reading pane allows users to quickly preview email.

Everyone.net’s AJAX-based Rich Web mail provides a simple, intuitive, feature-rich email experience that also includes collaboration tools such as shared address book and calendaring. The Web mail enhancement is available this month to Everyone.net customers using compatible browsers – Internet Explorer 6 or greater, Firefox 1.5 or greater and Safari 2 or greater.
